Tour of Wonder Land, LARGE
On to another leg of our tour through Sojourn in Wonder Land. Today we’ll take a look at the three new “large” paintings. These are 18×24 watercolor paintings. I’ve painted this size many times before. Before this show, this was the largest I’ve done. But you’ll see in the next email that there’s also “extra large”.
I’m going to focus on Summertime Fun because it is my favorite from this set. There is just something about this painting that makes me want to melt into it. The colors are so rich and full of depth. This is definitely one of my new favorite color palettes.
Because it evokes ice cream, a warm summer day, fireworks, and chilling out, I named it Summertime Fun. I feel like that sums up everything I’m feeling when I look at it.
This one already sold, but prints are still available.

Grasping at the Tides – This is my other favorite color palette. It is very hard to choose between this painting and the other as my favorite. I’m getting an ocean vibe from this one.
Get There by Dragonfly – From “Spanish Castle Magic” by Jimi Hendrix. We’re going to get to the castle by riding on a dragonfly.

Which one do you like best?
