Commission a Piece of Artwork

Transform your living space with a touch of originality. Art isn't just a visual expression; it's a proclamation of your identity to the world, a catalyst for conversations, and a conduit for spreading positivity.

Yet, there are times when an artist's style resonates with you, but the artwork itself doesn't quite align with your vision. Whether it's the size or the color palette that falls short, that's precisely when you should consider a commission.

Creating commissioned paintings is my passion. It's a thrilling creative challenge, and I have a unique ability to envision the final piece even before the first brushstroke.

Among my most sought-after commissions are pet portraits and what I call, "photos to paintings". My clients adore my pet paintings because I skillfully capture the essence of their pets in a way that feels magical.

Getting started is easy, just reach out or initiate a deposit through Etsy. My commissions are only available several times throughout the year. If you'd like to be notified when they become available, make sure you join my newsletter.

Picture the sensation of walking into your home and encountering art that not only reflects your personality but was meticulously crafted exclusively for you. Let's bring your vision to life, one brushstroke at a time.

Give them the gift of love!

Present them with a one-of-a-kind gift, a custom pet portrait! You'll receive a gift certificate to give your recipient then I'll work with them to create one of the best gifts they'll ever receive.

How It Works

1. Initial Investment

First, decide what size and style you'd like for your home (see below). When commissions are available, they're listed on Etsy. A limited quantity is available at any one time. Begin with a deposit so we both have some skin in the game.

2. Gathering Info

If you prefer, you can start here instead of Step 1 over there.

Next I'll ask you to complete this fancy, in-depth form. It will guide you through some of the decisions you’ll need to make about your new art. If this form is too much, you can use the simple old contact form and we can set up a meeting to go over these questions together.

3. We Meet

We’ll go over everything you’re looking for in a commissioned art piece. If we’re doing a pet portrait, you’ll need a few high resolution images in order to get the best results. If you want a "photo to painting," you'll also need that image to be the best quality possible.

4. Draw and Paint

Throughout the creative process I will send you many updates to make sure I’m on the right track and there aren’t any surprises. My goal is for you to be absolutely delighted with the final custom piece!

This part of the process can take up 4-8 weeks.

5. Hang Art!

Enjoy a beautiful, custom piece of art, made just for you!

Testimonials

"I had the pleasure of commissioning Nicole to create a portrait of our beloved cat, Moose (Artemis), as a gift for my husband after her passing. Nicole requested a handful of good pictures to work from. Knowing that I wanted a fun and unique piece, I suggested the style of an old-fashioned WANTED poster from Western movies. The end result is truly amazing! I was absolutely astonished at how well Nicole captured the details and realism of Moose; the likeness is uncanny. The patterning and eyes were also replicated with impressive accuracy.

I highly recommend Nicole for any art commission. Her talent spans across various styles, but especially shines when it comes to pet portraits. Working with Nicole was a breeze as she asked plenty of clarifying questions to ensure she understood exactly what I was envisioning. She took my idea and brought it to life even better than I could have imagined. Throughout the process, she checked in to make sure she was on the right track, which allowed me to provide feedback and make adjustments.

I am absolutely in love with the final result and cannot express enough how grateful I am to have this beautiful piece of art on our wall, serving as a wonderful reminder of our dearly loved kitty, Moose."
