Pour Decisions (Great Art): An Evening Open Studio with Nicole Hanusek
San Francisco artist invites the public to an intimate cocktail-style art event on May 16th
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Bay Area artist, Nicole Hanusek, is opening the doors to her studio for one evening this May, inviting guests into the space where her colorful, whimsical work comes to life. The event, cheekily titled Pour Decisions (Great Art), is equal parts art show, open studio, and cocktail party. A no-pressure evening of original artwork, wine, snacks, and good conversation.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 16th, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Hanusek's studio at 219 Hartford Street in San Francisco. Guests can expect a curated selection of artwork ranging from prints to originals, a free art print giveaway, and the warm, informal atmosphere Hanusek is known for among collectors and art lovers across the Bay Area.
The evening will also offer a first look at work from The Little Things, Hanusek's ongoing character series built around a curious, mischievous octopus and her wordless seal companion. Two characters whose world is rooted in the artist's own philosophy of slowing down, paying attention, and finding magic in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Hanusek's vibrant watercolor and acrylic paintings of octopuses, sea creatures, animals, and abstracts inspired by the ocean and nature have earned her a devoted following among collectors who share that same instinct for noticing beauty in unexpected places.
