Abstract Artwork
Abstract art is all about experimentation, playing with colors, textures, and layers, and going wherever the mood takes me. I mostly paint with watercolors, sometimes combined with gouache or enhanced with pastels.
My latest work reminds me of infernos, nebulas, the ocean and fury. I get lost in the colors and the way they blend together.

Infernos, Nebulas, and Nature
Taking my abstract painting style a little further, playing with watercolor powders, limited palettes and the unpredictable textures that arise. In some cases, adding a graphic element on top of the colorful backgrounds.
Shown chronologically.
Watercolors, 18 x 24 inches.
Almost Animal
A fun new series of abstract watercolor paintings where the subjects almost seem animal-like, but not quite.
With playful titles and descriptions, I had a blast creating this series! Watercolors, 12 x 19.
Abstract Cherry Blossoms
I thought it would be fun to attempt some abstract cherry blossom trees, deconstructed like you might deconstruct a meal at a fancy restaurant. Watercolors, 18 x 24.
