Dog Butt
While trying to figure out what to paint I thought about the things I like most. I’m obsessed with cuteoverload.com among other things. So I thought, why not paint cute animal butts? This one is called “Dog Butt” and it was inspired by my own dog, Joe. It proudly features his doggy ‘tocks and the cute way that his ears flop out when he looks up.
The original painting was done in acrylics and has been sold. I really enjoy working on textures like the fur. I also love bright colors and simple color schemes. This one uses a complimentary scheme: blue, orange and brown.
